The VermiBag Li’l Mammoth offers the easiest harvest system of any Bag out there…Period…! The system is a lower/wider profile than the Mini or Max, which allows the bag to be mounted higher which makes access to the Harvest Panel much easier. You can literally harvest this bag while sitting on a low chair. You don’t have to crawl onto the floor to get at the zippered harvest panel.
I recommend making the wood stand if possible for this bag, as it allows the highest mounting height and also allows for the addition of a rail to support the mortar tray for harvesting. The PVC stand can not be has high and also doesn’t’ allow for the mortar tray support.
The system Volume is about the same as Max but with a larger surface area of almost 5 sf, making it the largest flow thru system on the market today. (****The VermiBag Wedge is a MUCH larger system…but it uses the Wedge harvest system…not a flow thru.)
The VermiBag Li’l Mammoth is a perfect pick for anyone wanting a system that is simple to harvest casting from…you won’t be disappointed.
***I no longer use the aluminum rods for mounting. I now use the wooden dowels that are top mounted and are much easier to install.**

The quality is so nice. You can definitely tell the quality difference between Vermibag, and cheaply made foreign junk. Every stitch is back, stitched the fabric and zippers are thick and sturdy. Definitely worth the cost. The wood stand wasn’t too difficult to build. I purchased the lumber for Home Depot, and it came to about $48.00. I will be keeping my Vermibag outside, so I will be adding plywood to all the sides, with a top and removable front panel, but that part is not included in the cost of the stand.

Of all the bag systems, this is the best. It’s big. Can handle a household of four food and shredded boxes. Easy harvest. The plans for the stand worked great. 10 out of 10 would recommend. By comparison. I have owned different brands of bag systems. They lasted barely a year. This one is going on 5 years. Looks like the day I installed it.
Absolutely worth the price.
